While our vision is "every document, for every person in every country", there is a huge cost involved in preparing documents and as a result, we only put up documents that are sold in larger quantities.
However, while our law firm Brett Davies Lawyers would be able to cater to your needs and can prepare the document for you, www.lawcentral.com.au currently doesn't offer that service. To contact Brett Davies Lawyers, please call (08) 9325 7999 to talk to one of the lawyers who will assist you in preparing your document or advice you accordingly.
LawCentral documents are authored and supported by lawyers. They are also supported by professionals that are specialists in their field such as superannuation specialists. Each lawyer that authors a LawCentral document is backed by a minimum of $1.5 million Professional Indemnity Insurance.
LawCentral’s legal documents are authored by lawyers
working in those particular areas of practice. LawCentral is not
the author of any legal documents on its websites. LawCentral is
not a law firm.
LawCentral does not offer a review service to
see if your document is legally binding or fit for your particular
purpose. If in doubt then you should speak to a lawyer.
If your document is based on incorrect answers
then you may suffer adversely. You may not get the document that
you wanted or the outcome that you wanted.
The author of all legal documents at LawCentral is the lawyer that puts the document up at LawCentral. The lawyer keeps copyright in the document. No one else is legally the author. The lawyer has the sole control of that document. Therefore, the usual answer to your question is 'no'.
However, you need to be careful that you do not interpret a question or explain one of LawCentral's hints. If you do then you may be giving legal advice if you are producing a legal document that only lawyers are allowed to prepare.
There seems to be some latitude when it comes to setting up Unit Trusts, Family Trusts and Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Most are set up by accountants and advisers on behalf of their clients. LawCentral prepares 100s of Division 7A Loan Agreements most of those are prepared by Accountants on behalf of their clients. Provided you are only acting as a mere scribe, you generally are not giving legal advice.
However, if you prefer, stick the client in front of your computer to answer the questions.

Our system has been designed in such a way that it automatically defaults to a particular option on revisiting the page. When you are revisiting any page, you MUST choose the option of your choice again. The summary page shows all the information entered by you. If anything does not appear on the final summary page, it means some option has been wrongly selected. The best thing would be to go back to the particular page, choose the options again (just in case) and finally click “Lock & Load” once you are happy with the information.
You can easily perform a search on your computer to find pdf files. From your "Start" menu, choose "Find" and then select "Files and Folders." Enter "*.pdf " and click on "Find Now". A listing of pdf files should be displayed.
Alternatively, you can re-download your document from our server by following the steps below:
Acrobat Reader is a software available through Adobe that allows you to view a PDF document. PDF is an acronym for Portable Document Format and it is a document that does not allow editing. All LawCentral documents are in PDF format and it is thus necessary to have Acrobat Reader installer on your system. This program is free and easy to set up.
To check whether you have Acrobat Reader installed on your system, click
here. If your system already had Acrobat Reader installed, then you should
be able to view a PDF document in your browser window.
If you are not able to view the PDF file, then simply download Acrobat Reader from the Adobe site and install it on to your system.
To view your LawCentral documents, you require a minimum of version 4.0 of Acrobat
Reader. To check what version of Acrobat Reader you currently have installed,
Run Adobe Acrobat Reader on your system.
Go to Help menu item and click on About Adobe Acrobat. A window opens up and shows you the version of Acrobat Reader you have installed on your system.
The most likely reason for this is that you have a version of Acrobat Reader that is lower than version 4.0. If your version is lower than version 4.0, please upgrade your copy of Acrobat Reader by downloading the laterst version of Acrobat Reader from the Adobe site and install it on to your system. After the upgrade is done, restart your computer and try opening the document again. If the problem persists, please contact us on (08) 9325 7999.
